Refund and Returns Policy

At Container Supcon, we are committed to providing high-quality, US-sourced shipping containers to our clients worldwide. We understand that purchasing a container sight-unseen requires trust.

Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns.

1. Order Cancellation

We understand that plans change. You may cancel your order subject to the following conditions:

  • Before Dispatch: If you cancel your order before the container has been loaded onto a truck or vessel for delivery, you are entitled to a full refund, minus a modest administrative processing fee of $400.

  • After Dispatch: Once the container has left our depot or is in transit to your location, the order cannot be cancelled without penalty. If you insist on cancelling while the unit is in transit, you will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred (both to your location and the return trip to our depot) plus a 15% restocking fee.

2. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the size, weight, and extreme logistical costs associated with shipping containers, we do not accept returns for “change of mind” once the container has been delivered and accepted.

The “Inspect Upon Delivery” Rule

We operate on a strict Inspect Upon Delivery protocol. When our truck arrives at your location, you (or your designated agent) are required to inspect the container before the driver offloads it (or immediately upon placement, depending on the truck type).

  • If the container matches the grade you purchased (e.g., Wind and Water Tight): You must sign the Proof of Delivery (POD). By signing the POD, you acknowledge that the container was received in good condition and you accept the unit. All sales are final once the POD is signed.

  • If the container is significantly defective: (e.g., large structural holes, broken doors, or severe damage not consistent with the grade purchased), you have the right to REFUSE DELIVERY.

    • Do not sign the POD.

    • Instruct the driver to keep the container.

    • Call us immediately at (+1) 865 336 0062.

If you refuse delivery due to a valid quality dispute, we will arrange for a replacement unit to be delivered at no extra cost, or issue a full refund.

3. Understanding “Used” Conditions

To avoid disputes, it is vital to understand what you are buying. Most of our inventory is Used.

  • Cosmetic Imperfections: Dents, surface rust, scratches, and patch repairs are normal for used shipping containers and are not valid grounds for a return or refund.

  • Structural Integrity: We guarantee the structural integrity based on the grade sold (e.g., WWT – Wind and Water Tight). A “WWT” container is guaranteed not to leak light or water.

  • “As-Is” Units: If you purchase a container marked as “As-Is” or “Damaged,” these are sold with no warranties, and no returns or refunds are accepted under any circumstances.

4. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund (e.g., pre-dispatch cancellation or refused delivery due to valid defect):

  1. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout (Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Crypto, etc.).

  2. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

  3. For refused deliveries, the refund will be initiated only after the rejected container has been returned to our depot and verified by our team.

5. Warranty

We stand by the quality of our US-sourced inventory.

  • 1-Year Leak-Free Guarantee: For all units sold as “Wind and Water Tight” (WWT) or “Cargo Worthy” (CW), we offer a 1-year warranty against structural leaks.

  • Warranty Claims: If a leak develops within 12 months due to a structural defect (not due to customer damage or site modifications), Container Supcon will provide a repair kit or credit towards a professional local repair.

Note: Any modification made to the container (cutting holes, welding, painting, etc.) by the customer voids this warranty immediately.

6. Delivery Access Responsibility

Free Shipping covers the transport, but Access is your responsibility.

If our driver arrives at your site and cannot deliver because:

  • The road is too narrow or muddy.

  • There are low-hanging power lines or trees.

  • The site is not prepared or level.

The driver will have to leave with the container. In this case, you will be considered to have refused delivery. You will be refunded minus the cost of the failed delivery attempt and the return shipping costs.
